Eindhoven, the Netherlands – Within Amazec Photonics a new series of experiments have started on to learn the principles of photonic temperature sensing for clinical applicatons. To this end, the properties of the photonic temperature sensor is investigated in a vitro setup and compared to conventional electronic measurements. These insights are used to refine the underlying modeling that allows measurements for clinical applications, like cardiac output and circulating blood volume.
