Alkmaar, the Netherlands – November 3^rd 2022 We visited Technobis and Photonfirst to introduce Wilma Compagner to the team. Wilma is working on the validation of the system in the TUE test set-up and the optimization of the Digital Twin computer model. We finalized the technical report of phase 1, the evaluation of the basic interrogator system and the first generation of sensors.

We had a tour in the two companies and had a demonstration of the first set up of the Femto-One Functional Model by Morris Cui and Thijs van Leest.

Amazec Photonics offered a lunch for all that are involved in the development of the Femto-One product. It was nice to meet all again and see the tremendous progress made in the last months. We are still confident  to finish the definition phase of the interrogator building blocks and production of the FuMo this year and get a clear view on the next version of the 0,0001 degree resolution thermal FBG sensor.
