January 19^th 2023 – This year had a very positive start for Amazec Photonics. We reviewed the test results of the Functional Model (FuMo) of the Femto-One FBG temperature sensor system.

With some small known and accepted exceptions this system is fully compliant to the pre-series products to be developed and delivered this year. The first FuMo will be used to do the first thermal experiments in a circulation model at the TUe. In a later stage the system will also be used for pre-clinical testing at and in cooperation with the Catharina Hospital Eindhoven. A second FuMo system will now be ordered and set up at PhotonFirst to further optimize the system and reach the last specifications of the system in combination with the new high resolution temperature sensor system.
